What does your design process look like?+
My design process is flexible and adapts to the needs of each project. Sometimes I’m involved from the very beginning, helping to shape the vision and strategy, while other times I come in at a later stage to refine or rework existing designs. No matter where I start, the goal is always the same: to understand the objectives, the needs of the users, and how to deliver the best possible solution.
What part of the process do you enjoy the most?+
I love the problem-solving aspect of design. Seeing a challenge, understanding the user’s pain points, and crafting a solution that balances creativity and functionality is incredibly rewarding.
What makes you different from other designers?+
My background in social work has given me a unique perspective on design. I approach every project with empathy, putting the user at the heart of the solution. This means I don’t just create visually appealing designs. I focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful experiences that help users. I also pride myself on my communication and flexibility, making sure the process is as smooth as possible.
What do you get up to when your not designing?+
When im not designing you will usually find me exploring with my westie, Ralph. I enjoy a stoat up a hill or chancing my luck at a bit of fishing 🎣
